The first time I saw persimmons in the store I wondered what it would taste like. I didn't buy any.
The second time I saw persimmons, I wondered again what it was like and didn't purchase any.
Finally, one day my son purchased a persimmon for us to try, and I was sorry I hadn't gotten it before. I love mangoes, and I can say that persimmon is pretty darn close to what a mango tastes like, except you can also eat the peel of one, unlike a mango.
Just in case anyone was wondering, now you know.
