Myspace is easy to use for all ages. My niece has one, my mom has one,my friends who have moved have them and so on. I really don't know to many people who don't have one. Your friends/family can see the mood your in, the music you like and can see that your online (if you want to show them lol) and can chat easily with no running up cell minutes or waiting for e-mails back and forth.

 I love the Myspace Instant Messenger. Just like aol you can chat with a few friends at once. My husband found friends from the Army and friends from Highschool.
