This vacuum is a total waste of money.  It broke down after the first use.  I was very careful with my new vacuum.  I made sure the floor was free of any objects other than the usual pet hair.  After using the vacuum on one large oriental rug (no fringe), and the surrounding hard wood floor, the machine stopped working.  The brush stopped turning, so I assume the belt broke and it wouldn't suck up anything but my time.  I never even got to try the "power paw", or the self cleaning duster.  It was overheating as well, and I noticed that when pulling out the bagless canister alot of dust covered...
