I needed a good simple fax machine and went on several websites and looked at prices. I aslo was looking for something easy to use and set up. I also did not want another big printer and this brother fax machine is small it is on my dresser close t o the computer. I needed to buy for the work I was going to get and need to fax alot in a month. I like that the cartrigde on the brother fax machine does about 250 pages and that is alot. IT faxes and copies very fast and easy. not alot of noise. It holds 100 sheets of paper so you do not need to reload all the time. I only paid 40.00 dollars for it...
