Whenever I think of Survival-Horror as a genre, I recall memories of gritty graphics, horrid soundtracks and cheap sound bytes. Resident Evil 4 (aka REIV) promoptly put a bullet in that memory, killing it for good. My first comment when I started playing this PS2 icon was "Oh my God, CAPCOM finally did it!" I looked at my son, who was mesmerized by the color quality in the opening video (of course, it could also have been due to the fact that he was about 4 months old. Gotta love colors.)
