Appalachian State University is nestled in the mountains of North Carolina. It may have a semi-small campus but the hearts of the students, faculty and staff make it seem a thousand times larger. Whether the campus is covered with the beauty of fallen leaves or a recent snow, it is beautiful all year through. A stream runs through the middle of campus that attracts all sorts of wildlife. The town of Boone LOVES the Appalachian State students and gives student discounts to all. After winning National Football Championships in 2005, 2006 and 2007 enrollment has increased by over 100%.
