    I bought this item 2 years ago when my daughter came home from Florida for Christmas. The spare bedroom is in the basement and doesn't share the baseboard heating of the rest of the basement. This heater is perfect for the room she is in and I don't have to keep the whole-house heat on just to keep her warm. My other daughter has one in her bedroom too because her room is over the garage and it keeps me from having to keep the heat up high to keep her warm also.
