My husband bought my Lena as a quit smoking present. That was 4 1/2 years ago. I am very lucky.  My golden is a beautiful animal. She is the most loyal, loving animal. She would rather be with people than other dogs.  She follows me around the house and always lays near us. Very easy to train and teach with one exception.  Mine is not calm when people first come to my house. She jumps and goes crazy to say hello.  Strictly friendly but she is a big girl and too heavy to be jumping on people.  She listens to me and doesn't jump on me when I come home.
