The Born free bottle is great! My son had hard time switching from breast to bottle and the born free was the only one he really liked(tried all kinds!!). I used the Avent with my first child and I really wanted to change because I wanted a BPA free bottle (Avent didn't use to be), I wanted a bottle that after many washing would still look and feel squeaky clean (plastic bottles look and feel just terrible after few washes) and the gas valve and the flow and no leak system were just great (the Avent caused a lot of gas on my 1st one and it was always leaking!!).
