I had a terrible reaction to this drug

a lifetime allergy sufferer, genetically predisposed to allergies, living with many animals, Highly allergic to ragweed

I may be a rare exception to the rule, but Zyrtec made me so sleepy I was unable to function. I know this is unusual, but if you try the medication and find yourself unable to function, try stopping the medicine to see if this is the cause. I can take Allegra or Claritin, but Zyrtec takes me out.
