I have been on anti-depressant medications for over 15 years.  I have tried almost all of these drugs that are available.  Zoloft is my current medication and has consistently worked better and longer than any other medication I tried.

Zoloft doesn't have the side effects that other anti-depressants...

Zoloft made such a difference in my life that I have to resist griping that it wasn't available decades ago.  It would have changed a lot of things.  But, as good as it is, it can't work retroactively, and so I'm thankful now for its benefits.

When I started taking Zoloft, I found myself spending hours thinking about the same old problems and mistakes.  My doctor called it ruminating.  The ruminating never produced any positive actions on my part; on the contrary, it seemed to paralyze me from taking any effective actions.

Two weeks after I started taking Zoloft, I broke my knee.  After surgery...

I was diagnosed with bi-polar and severe depression in my early teen years through counseling. I've been in counseling ever since and have tried many different prescription drugs to suit and subside my depression and moods, but as many as i had tried i had many dissapointments, and tended to be unsuccessful in my search for quite sometime. Then when i got pregnant i was reluctant to be on any medication because i didnt want any side effects for my baby, so when he was born i had decided to try going back on medication. My doctor had suggested only one that would be safe for me while breastfeeding,...

I was told that I was deppressed about two years ago when i went to see my famly doctor.  He gave me a prescription so i went and had it filled.  It made me so sick!  I was up all night had the chills. It felt like I had the flu.  I went pack to the doctor and he prescribed Paxil.  I liked this one but it didnt really seem to change my moods.  It didnt make me sick so that was better but I wanted something that was actually going to help.  I went back to my primary care physcian and the wrote me a prescription for Celexa.  That made me stay awake all night and I felt very jittery...

Being a grown-up is hard. Get married, harder. Have children, AARGH! Don't get me wrong, I love my spouse and child, but with added family comes added worry and heartache. I never had a problem dealing with my anxiety before, but once my son started school, we bought a house, started having financial issues... let's just say I got a little freaky. Everything started bothering me. Neighborhood kids started making me nervous. I was crazed thinking about making ends meet. I gave up. I went to the doctor and asked for something "to make me not care SO MUCH". She prescribed me Zoloft.

The first few...

I have been using Zoloft for three years now. My life was very hectic and busy being a caregiver to a loved one. I knew that I needed something to just take the edge off of the hectic feelings I had all the time. So my Doctor told me about Zoloft. I could tell a difference in myself after about three weeks, a good difference. My life was so much better. I went off of the Zoloft at one point for about three months and boy was that a mistake. I could tell for sure the benefits of taking the Zoloft when I went off it. I could tell after about one week of not taking it that it was a real good medication...

When handling depression you don't have to do it alone. Zoloft works wanders. The only thing I hate about the medication takes up to three weeks to start working but when it do, it is amazing. It fits every need. Its come in 50miligrams 100 miligrams. It also works for aneixty, panic disorders and mood disorders. I tried many different medication and couldn't find one that works for me. I thought I wasn't never going to get better. But I tried Zoloft and within weeks I notice a change. I was able to go outside and I being doing things I enjoyed again. Thanks you Zoloft!

In 2000 my children were first prescribed Zoloft.  We have adopted six special needs children.  Five of which have Fetal Alcohol Syndrome.  The first day they took Zoloft was amazing.  Teachers called me wanting to know what had suddenly helped my children to be able to learn.  My one daughter had never been able to write more than a sentence.  That day she wrote a full page.  They are all still on Zoloft and are still able to learn, two  of which will be graduating from High School this year.  Zoloft made it possible for them to interact with their peers, learning will never be easy for...
