Zojirushi BB-HAC10 Bread Maker Review

The Zojirush BB-HAC10 Bread Maker is a great breadmaker for couples or small families.  Makes a 1lb loaf only.  Can also make jam and cake.  Has a dough setting for making rolls, croissants, pasta, buns, pizza and pretzels.  Has a regular and Firm bread setting, as well as quick baking setting and french bread option.

This is my first breadmaker.  I chose it because I was looking for one that made a small loaf and didn't take up a lot of space.  I've had absolutely no trouble with it and the bread is wonderful.  Occasionally I will pop the bread in the oven for about 10 minutes to make it even crustier, but that is absolutely not necessary.

Has an "add ingredient" option, so you can add raisins, seeds or whatever, after about 30 minutes.  The delay keeps these add-ins from getting pulverized during the mixing process.

It comes with a bunch of recipes, but you can use any recipe for a 1lb bread loaf.  I've made a flax/sunflower bread that is awesome.

The bread takes anywhere from 2-5 hours, depending on options selected.
