We bought a bottle of the Zodiac flea shampoo for our beagle pups and figured we'd treat our two adult dogs too.  We spent a good few hours shampooing up the big dogs and when it came time to the pups, the most unimaginable happened.  We bathed the pups together, dried them together and when we let them loose it turned into a blood bath.  The pups immediately turned on my adult male dog and each other.  We ended up taking the one female beagle pup to the vet.  After explaining what had happened he said that there must be something in the scent of the Zodiac shampoo to trigger the aggression.  Needless to say, a hundred bucks and an hour later that bottle of Zodiac puppy shampoo went into the garbage.    On the upside, it did help with the fleas long enough for my injured beagle pup to heal up enough to scratch again.
