I love these containers!

5

I really love the Ziplock Twist N Loc Containers! They are strong and tough. They are a great size and they hold up if dropped. These can be washed in the dishwasher on the top rack. I love the lid. It twists on, unlike the other lids that push on. The twist lids are so much better! They screw on really easily, but if dropped nothing should spill out. They won't leak either. These are a good size for smaller items. These are not big containers, but they will hold cut up fruits and veggies, snacks, leftovers, and other things. These also work good for organizing. I do a lot of craft projects also and these come in handy for storing things. They are good for travelling in the car also. Kids can even screw and unscrew these tops. They also stack really well on shelves. I have had my containers for a couple of years and I love them. They have worked really well for me. I will keep using these containers and will probably be buying more in the future!

What A Great Product

5

This is such an improvement over the standard snap on lid type freezer container that we have bought for years. No more lids popping off when they fall out of the lunchbox or refrigerator. Just screw on the lid and you know they are sealed. Dishwasher safe, microwavable and able to use in both the refrigerator and freezer make these super versatile. They make great additions to lunchboxes and diaper bags. With an easy screw on lid that even older arthritic hands can manage. They seem thicker and more durable than the traditional snap top container as well. I have found so many uses for these around the house. In the bathroom they hold cotton balls, bobby pins and Q tips securely. In the sewing room they hold buttons and snaps. My husband has even snagged a few for out in the garage for screws and bolts. My only suggestion on improvement would be that they don't come in many sizes. If the company could add a few more choices of sizes they would be perfect.

Best Plastic Containers Around!

5

I love, love, love these jars for storing and transporting soups and stews! I make a lot of soups and stews for family members and when I need to transport them I used to be worried about spills. No more! These awesome little jars are the best things ever for soups and stews! These seal tight and can go into the freezer and fridge. I think you can microwave in them but I've never tried. They absolutely do not stain no matter what you put in them. They also do not pick up odors like even some of the more expensive plastic containers do. The lids are also very easy to open, even older hands with arthritis, but seal tightly and do not leak. I love that the containers come in two sizes 16 oz and 32 oz. 16 oz is the perfect serving size for a soup or stew so it's super easy to freeze individual portions. The 32 oz is great when I make ice cream in my ice cream maker. It fits the entire batch (less a few bites for the cook). Both sizes share the same lids so I don't need to search for different lids. I just have a stack of blue lids and one stack each of each size container. Clutter is minimized! I actually got rid of all my expensive plasticware and replaced it with these because they are so awesome!

Ziploc Twist N Loc Containers

What a marvellous invention from Mr Ziploc! I love these products, indeed I wish I had more of these in my pantry. Firstly they come in such great sizes (2 cups or 4 cups), perfect for storing leftover mash potatoe, soup, pureed veggies and baby food etc. I find that some screw tops don't screw on particularly well - especially if you don't get the exact right lid that it was 'born with'. However, this is not the case with these screw tops lids, they are totally flush. They also stack on top of each other so neatly for storage. I have dropped them on the floor many times (accidently) with food inside and I was expecting them to totally split in half, but they didn't. The worst thing that ever happened was, when I dropped one, a little bit of the lip chipped off but it wasn't on the actual closing mechanism so even then, I could still use it. They are really inexpensive, so much so they are almost on a par with being disposable - but I would never throw one away, not even a lightly chipped one!

Could take them or leave them.

When I first purchased these to use for leftovers for my husbands lunches they worked really, really well. The only thing that I find unsatisfactory about them is that they don't really like to hold anything saucy or with liquid in it at all. At first they were fine about holding chili and spaghetti and things of that nature, but as the time has gone on, I feel like they aren't holding up as well. We have had them for probably 5 months or so and I won't dare put anything that isn't a solid in them. They are great for cookies, crackers, or muffins, but don't dare try to put anything in them that isn't thick enough to stay in the jar, you will be cleaning up a lunch box disaster! I really can't complain too much because they did do their job for awhile and they are not priced to last. Overall I feel like these are a great product for the money, but just consider yourself warned about the liquid!

Went back for more!

5

I always request new tupperware for Christmas and someone had bought some of these for me one year. I loved them SO much and immediately went back for more! The twist N loc lids are SO much better than the snap on lids on other plastic containers. The containers and the lids are very sturdy! I have had mine for about 2 years now and they are still just as sturdy as when I first used them! The lids are much easier to screw on rather than snap on (and wonder if it's fully snapped). I have even washed my containers and lids in the dishwasher on a heated wash and they have washed fine - even though I am fairly certain they don't recommend washing them in your dishwasher! I have not had any issues heating up food in these containers either (although I would not suggest microwaving them for very long). I would highly suggest using these over the snap lid plastic containers! I have always been very pleased with the Ziploc brand and this just made it even better!

Ziploc Twist N Loc Containers: Excellent!

5

Like most families we have need for small storage containers for leftovers and on-the-go meals. We've used plastic containers from virtually all the major and store-brand manufacturers and among our favorites is **Ziploc Twist N Loc Containers**. Unlike many containers intended for food storage, Ziploc Twist N Loc Containers offer the security of lids that twist on and provide a sure seal. We don't have to worry about lids popping open and spilling contents into a lunch bag or worse; a school backpack. **Versatile Sizes** We purchase Ziploc Twist N Loc Containers in the small (2-cup) and medium (4-cup) sizes. The smaller size is ideal for packing a lunch made up of leftovers. In fact, often after dinner I'll prepare a few 2-cup containers and store them in the fridge for the next day. The medium (4-cup) size is ideal for freezing and storing stock, soup and sauces in usable batches. We find these far more durable than reusing disposable 1 quart containers that seem to accumulate from the deli and Chinese take-out. One of the characteristics of Ziploc Twist N Loc Containers that I really appreciate is the broad flat base that keeps the container stable whether in the freezer or on the counter-top. The only drawback of using these, or any other plastic container for storage is that over time the plastic will stain and even pit from use with high acid content foods such as tomato sauce. A good thorough washing after use will prolong their life. While some reviewers find that these containers don't stand up well to the dishwasher, our Bosch Evolution Dishwasher, since it doesn't have an interior heating element treats our containers pretty gently. For other dishwashers I would recommend top rack only to minimize the possibility of melting or warping the containers or lids. Ziploc Twist N Loc Containers are BPA-free. I recommend them very highly.

No More Food Leaking Out With Ziplock Twist N Lock

4

The ZiplockTwist N Lock containers are an excellent solution to unsealed lids and spills. These nice plastic containers have a lid that you screw on just like screwing the lid on a jar. As a matter of fact they are a lot like a jar except they are plastic so they will not break if you drop them. They come in different sizes. there is the pint and then they have a quart size. I use mine for leftovers and freezing. I remember well those square pint and quart containers that my mom had for putting vegetables up in the freezer. Those square lids went on okay but I do remember that they did not stay on very well.Wouldn't she have been happy to have the Ziplock Twist N Lock containers! When I make homemade vegetable soup I cook up a lot and freeze some of it for the evenings that I am too tired to cook, or just don't want to cook.I use my quart size Twist N Locks to put the soup in and freeze it. I also save the chicken broth when I boil a chicken for chicken salad. I use my twist N Lock Containers to freeze the broth in.Then I have the broth on hand when I need it. I don't have to buy the broth at the Grocery Store. I use my Twist N Lock containers for a lot of things and I really like them.

LOVE this plastic container

5

I love the new Ziploc Twist and Lock containers. They are GENIUS! There are so many pros, I hardly know where to begin. The first is that they are BPA free even though they are "disposable". (I have real issue with that word- you would never throw these away I think- it just means that if you leave them at school or work the mamma isn't going to freak out you didn't keep track of it liek she would with her pricy Tupperware!)  They come in a medium size which is perfect for a leftovers for one portion or a batch of strawberry freezer jam. The large size is perfect for a freeze homemade tomato soup for four size. But get this- they use the SAME SIZE LID! And the lid- oh the lid! I am in love with the lid. It screws on and you know that sucker is closed. No worrying about spills or the lid popping off- like they do with so many other cheap plastic containers. They stack neatly and compactly for storage. I love them. I have found sales and coupons for them, which made these already affordable items even cheaper. I have bought eight sets I think. I've replaced most of my plastic containers with these. Because they are round, they can't work for absolutely everything, but whatever they can work for, I use them for. They are really sturdy and dishwasher / microwave safe- also great. But I will say this- I did have soup frozen in one and it dropped out of the freezer and the container shattered because it gets brittle when frozen, but that hardly ever happens.

Nice reusable containers

5

Wow, these containers are a godsend for leftovers. They are a good size for storing leftover vegetables, or just about any small helping. The containers twist to lock, so you don't have to wonder if the food has been sealed or not because if it is, you will know. The containers are dishwasher safe which is a wise move as dishwashers have become quite the common appliance in most houses and really cut down on the time needed to wait before they can be used again. They're helpful for a budget too, as they can be reused again and again and aren't thrown away like regular ziploc bags. As a person trying to keep things cheap, the twist n loc containers help me save a few bucks and come with convienence to boot!
