Pros

180 miles per day. rates from only $10!, EZ Pass saves time, Car usage rules keep car rather clean, Insurance is included, Clean the car - get usage credit, Luxury models too, The car is not your problem, Gas is included in hourly rate

Cons

Availability can be ltd on wkends, Big yucky green sticker on side of car, Reserve by phone = $3.50 fee (airport?), Tell a friend - u get $0. Friend gets $$, Billing is cryptic and too general, Reps aren't always well-trained

This sounds too good to be true, but it works. It took me a while to think of negatives for this review.

If you try and like the service share info only with your closest friends - or those who live far away from you. You don't want them taking all the cars!!

Customer service can be inconsistent. But you rarely need it. They cannot think outside the box if something goes wrong.

Having a car in a large city is pain, what with all the parking tickets, damage to the vehicle, maintenance, gas prices, etc. The Zipcar is not your problem. Just respect it while you are in it - no smoking, keep your pet in a container & take you junk with you - and you don't have to think about it. Even if it broke down since you last used it, you wouldn't care. There's anther one available.

I hesitated to write this review only because I am sick of them running out of cars on the weekend. But it is an excellent service

BEST OF ALL: Zipcar supports a program that gives women free rides home late at night from many popular party neighborhoods. That's tight.
