I used Zicam nasal gel one time and it caused horrible burning and congestion in my nose. When the burning and congestion went away I was left with no sense of taste or smell. ENT doctor had no solution for me so I turned to acupuncture after several months of not being able to taste or smell anything. After a year of treatment I could smell and taste almost normally although some things smell differently than before my experience with Zicam. I have used this when I feel like I'm starting to get a cold or flu. It really does help to stop the illness in it's tracks. I hate a stuffy nose, so when I start to get stuffy I use this, and before you know it, I can breath freely again. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to get over the colds fast.
