The Zenith XB V243 DVD /VCR Combo drive is a good-looking DVD/VCR recorder that has great possiblities, but a few flaws.  While the VCR side works perfectly, the DVD side is suspect.  During recording, the (DVD) drive tends to, "freeze- up," if used too frequenly.  It's also hard to read or see the cover if you are sitting down.  Otherwise, this is a good buy,

although I found the **Zenith XB V243 DVD /VCR Combo drive** sort of easy to use.. I have also realized it breaks very often I have had it in the repair shop three times already which lead to to go out and buy another machine for back up..

  **   I love my Zenith XB V243 DVD /VCR Combo drive because it includes both the DVD and VCR players so I didn't have to buy 2 separate units.  I live in a small apartment so space is at a premium and this unit is compact enough to save a little space in my entertainment unit.  This unit work excellent and I love the fact that I can watch either a DVD or a VCR movie since I have a good collection of both.  They are the main gifts I get from family or friends on special occasions because the know I have a DVD/VCR player.**
