Zatarain's New Orleans Style Jambalaya Mix —
I only gave this 4 out of 5 stars due to the large amount of salt in the mix; I haven't tried the reduced-sodium mix yet but am eager to do so. I've used this mix numerous times without any problems, using a can of shrimp for seafood as well as a pound of andouille sausage for more authenticity and spice. I like hot food, but not any that is HOT; this is perfect when I'm looking for that flavor to remind me of New Orleans. The optional red pepper packet has always been reserved for my fiance's overly spicy taste, yet he has yet to add it to this particular dish. Very tasty!!!
