Worst online shopping experience I have ever had.

First we went to the store to buy a wedding ring.  The price on the tag was different than the price that rung up at the register so we went home to see what the price was online.  It was about $100 cheaper online than in the store so we purchased it online.  The ring was purchased on September 7th.  The wedding was on October 26th and shipping was guaranteed to be 1-3 weeks.  After three weeks and no contact from Zales, we called to get the status of the ring and was told the ring was out of stock.  Why did no one immediately call us to tell us this?  We were told that the ring would be... read full review »

beautiful, high quality jewelry

i cannot afford a lot of jewelry from zales but their clearance rack is fantastic. for mother's day, there are lots of beatiful pieces under $100. recently, i bought a pair of hoops for less than $50 (free shipping, special promo almost 70% off). checkout, payment processing are straightforward and shipping is quick (2-3days). customer service is good as well although i have nothing to complain about - just to track on items i ordered. all my online shopping experiences with this company is positive. highly recommended on their clearance items.

We visited a lot of stores, we studied all the different rings and prices. We visited a zales store, it had a good sale, automatic 10% off on purchases under $1000. When we tried to negociate for a lower price, the sales wouldn't budge. So we left the store and went to another Zales store. Luckily the sales was able to lower the price a little more and we went ahead and bought the rings. It has nice rings and the service is great.

Too bad you can't buy a protection plan for everything you own.
expecting good, fair service, into trying new things, a bargain hunter, willing to pay for quality, not one to take bad service lightly, appreciative of good customer service

Some of the pieces Zales stocks are really, um, low-budget looking, but they have some really great diamond pieces (their specialty), and you can't beat the lifetime jewelry protection plan.  Covers repair of any damage or replacement of any lost stones for the lifetime of the jewelry, plus free sizing on rings.  If you're tough on jewelry, it's the way to go.

My fiance and I just bought my engagement ring and wedding band at Zales.  Staff was friendly, knowledgable and not too pushy to make a sale.  Selection was great and the services offered such as the lifetime guarantee and cleaning are fantastic!  Zales really seems to stand behind its products.

great company- just recently needed to return a necklace I ordered for Christmas because it broke. It took forever for them to send me a prepaid label to return it. They kept emailing me saying that they sent it and I should have it- finally after 4-6 emails after I asked what was going on and I hadn't received anything from me it finally arrived in my email box- Very quick credit back to my card for the item and other wise great company to shop from.
