Zed 451 is located at Clark and Superior in the River North neighborhood of Chicago. The cuisine is primarily Brazilian style meats offered prix fixe style. Harvest Tables is the glammed up name Zed gives their mega-salad bar. In traditional Brazilian steakhouse fashion, you hit up the Harvest Tables first... then have your meats served to you off stakes carried around by servers. I can't comment on the food because I went for drinks only. I do plan on returning for the dinner experience.
The roof top deck at Zed is pretty phenomenal and quite interesting. Beautiful oak and bamboo decor create a tranquil, earthy setting. Then there's the interesting wild life sipping on expensive, fruity cocktails, popular import beers and fine wine. The roof top is only about 3 stories high so the view is of the taller skyscrapers towering above. It's pretty gorgeous if you like city skylines at night. The crowd was mixed when I visited on a Thursday night. Mainly young professionals in suits, trendy girls dressed in skimpy attire, and then the 40-50 somethings out on the prowl.
I recommend ZED 451 for the glorious views, romantic setting and yummy drinks. Plan on spending a lot though. You're paying for the view.
