The Bottom Line: Yves Rocher's Riche Creme has been their best seller for as long as I can remember, and for good reasons. With 30 precious oils and a really nourishing formula, your skin will thank you for it. A bit pricey (but Yves Rocher has frequent sales), but totally worth it. Effectiveness I grew up with a (French) mom who used this Yves Rocher Riche creme day and night for as long as I can remember. Yves Rocher recommends this cream for women who are over 55 years old, but I don't see a reason to wait that long to reap the benefits of this amazing facial cream. I absolutely love it and have been using it since my early thirties (I am 38 now). With thirty precious oils, you can feel it working. Examples of these oils are coconut, olive, safflower, soybean, wheat, peach, avocado, rice, mango, walnut, cashew, just to name a few. Right after applying it, my skin feels plumper and rejuvenated, especially first thing in the morning, when my skin tends to be dry after a night's sleep. I use this cream in cures, and will use it for two months, then switch to something else, then go back to it again. I can always tell a difference after using it for about 3 weeks. My fine lines are less obvious, especially around the eyes. I love how nourished and smooth my skin feels after applying it, and it lasts until the evening. I love this cream and cannot recommend it enough. Ease of Application This Yves Rocher face cream is a bit thicker than most daily facial creams, but I also feel that it hydrates and nourishes my skin much better as well. Scent The scent of this cream is quite unique and very specific to Yves Rocher Riche Creme. It has a botanical scent to it, and even though it might seem a bit strong at first, it fades quickly after application. I like the scent myself, but if you are allergic or sensitive to smells, this is something to be aware of.

I don't recommend this one for people with oily skin. I used it and I think it was over-moisturizing. The scent is nice and I use the creme during winter as it's more dry but I won't put the creme anywhere close to my eyes. My skin doesn't absorb the creme well, so it feels that it stays on the surface of my face. After wondering how to use this creme, I found the best way to use this creme up: after swimming in a swimming pool. The chlorine in the water really dry my skin up like crazy. So I brought it when I go swimming and it works better than when I use it at home (I applied around the area around my eyes carefully though)! However I won't buy it again after the creme is used up. I'm a bit disappointed by this because Yves Rocher's products are 'supposed' to be nicer than the one you pick from Target. The price also reflects that too - it's definitely more expensive than most things in Target. Effectiveness It's good when your skin is ultra-dry. Ease of Application Easy to apply but doesn't work that well. Scent I like it quite some.
