Yves Rocher Relaxing Milky Oil —

I am convinced that no matter how ugly my feet are, they are one of the most important parts of my body. I have come to the conclusion that I need to take care of my feet the best way I know how. And I am convinced that paying for salon pedicures is completely out of the question. Here's my story:

After being off work for over a year, I went back to a full time job where I spent the entire eight hours on my feet. Needless to say, I could barely walk after that first week. I had huge blisters on the bottom of my feet and unbelievable pain. Lucky for me, my thoughtful kids gave me an electric foot bath for Christmas that year and I was on a mission to find the best foot care products I could, in order to take care of my poor little tootsies!

Enter Yves Rocher Lavande Essentielle Relaxing Milky Oil. I have been a loyal Yves Rocher customer for several years. After much money spent on other foot care products, I finally found this Relaxing Milky Oil. All I can say is Yves Rocher has proven itself to me one more time.

This Relaxing Milky Oil comes in a clear, purple-tinted, plastic bottle. It has a screw-on plastic top with a clear plastic knob for easy opening. The top doubles as a measuring device when using the oil for a foot bath. The bottle contains 3.4 fl. oz. (100 ml) of clear oil.

Yves Rocher Relaxing Milky Oil contains essential lavender oils which gives it a wonderful lavender scent. I haven't always liked this scent but the more I use products containing it, the more I have come to appreciate and enjoy it. The directions say to use it as a massage oil or to dissolve three capfuls in warm water for a creamy foot bath. I have used it both ways.

I have used baby oil in my electric footbath in the past. It worked for me but my feet had an oily film on them when my foot bath was done. The problem with that was that it took me a long time to clean the foot bath out after using it and seemed more trouble than it was worth. With this Relaxing Milky Oil, all I do is fill the foot bath with warm water and add the capfuls of this oil to it. It immediately turns milky and mixes with the water rather than floating on top as the baby oil did.

I know the directions say to use three capfuls.(Without measuring, the capfuls are about a teaspoon) I want more than that so I put about three tablespoons of this oil into the footbath that already has warm water in it. I usually soak my feet for about twenty minutes. The milky effect makes me feel like I am pampering my feet and the smell of the lavender oil gives me a sense of relaxation.

The best part of this process is that my feet are not oily when I take them out of the bath. They are refreshed, softened, relaxed and perfectly ready for whatever lotion or cream I want to use next. In the past, I have used this Relaxing Milky Oil as the finishing oil after a footbath. It works well for this too, but I tend to like something less oily. As always, I put a pair of socks on for several hours or overnight, depending when I use the foot bath. Regardless, I am completely pleased with this Relaxing Milky Oil. My feet look and feel absolutely wonderful after this process!

When purchasing this oil the last time, I also received Lavande Essentielle Efferscent Bath Beads for Tired Feet that contain Essential Lavender Oil. These work great in the footbath along with the Milky Oil.

This oil retails for $13.00 regularly. The bath beads retail for $10.00. One thing I like about Yves Rocher is that they always have specials going. I got a $17.00 discount on this purchase and paid only $6.00 for the oil and beads. Not bad, huh?

As far as I know, Yves Rocher is only available through their web site or by phone and mail. It's headquarters are located in France. I love the fact that all their products are botanical and that they choose organic growing and harvesting of plants whenever possible. They only use non-endangered plants too. Great company, great products.

Always specials and sales, always a break on shipping, lots of free samples and free gifts. Yves Rocher Relaxing Milky Oil. Highly recommended for tired, aching feet.
