Sorry if I haven't posted anything here on Viewpoints in awhile but I just got a new digital camera and I been trying to make some videos believe it or not. It takes a lot for me to laugh, but with the video selection on YouTube, I have rolled on the floor many times. This is a great site because there are videos on just about everything. I had a particular song in my head and couldn't think of who sang it so I searched YouTube and not only found the answer, but also a great video of the group. If you want a good laugh, this can be the place to go. Some of the funniest, stupidest videos I've ever seen. There are a lot of videos that will break your heart, make you mad, and make you think. Some are informative, some are for venting frustrations. Ohmygoodness where to begin.... Youtube is WONDERFUL! Where else can you have a nagging song/thought/anything in your brain and go to your computer and instantly pull it up and see it, GREAT! I was thinking the other day how my kids would have loved the show "The Bugaloos", they are the right age, I loved the Bugaloos when I was their age.. YouTube has become an amazing online resource for the most varied and creative videos I've ever seen! I recently was searching for some information on Eastern Europe and came across a number of historical videos regarding the history of Slovakia. Totally riveting stuff! But, along with the "good stuff" comes the not so nice unpleasantries of unedited remarks. Okay my first introduction to You Tube was "Grandma's Happy Fist"....then I was hooked! If you have not seen it please check it out now! Another favorite is a commercial called "Fight for Kisses" where a Baby's bond with his Mom is threatened by his Fathers' smooth shave...hilarious! Youtube is a wonderful website. It has so many videos; practically anything you could think of you could find. There are so many amazing music videos and so many hilarious user videos. It's great. They let so many people have their "15 minutes of fame." I can't tell you how many times I've actually heard of someone who became famous after uploading their videos to youtube. So many unknown singers and performers have been discovered because of it. No one would even know of these people if it weren't for youtube. So I introduced my mom to Youtube on Thanksgiving and we laughed so hard it hurt... My mom said she had heard about it on the news but had never been on it and now I think she is a fan. You truly can find a video about anything and everything on there.... If you need a good laugh and have plenty of time to kill you can get your fill of comedy on laughter from bloopers to staged scenes... You Tube, ahhhh yes this site, everyone seems to know about it, from my friends to my family, it really is a great site because you can find almost any type of videos on there from comedy to horror, to music to movies and sports. Everyone can get in on the site. It however sometimes can be addictive but thats the good thing about the site for me because it passes time when I am bored. YouTube. YouTube. YouTube. When I first heard of it, I wasn't that thrilled about. In fact, I just started viewing the site within the last six months, and I think this site is absolutely amazing. I've found music videos that I haven't seen since the early 90s or never at all. There are clips of sitcoms from the 80s that I thought no one but me remembered. YouTube is nostalgic.
