You Tube Reviews

It's pretty hard to believe that YouTube is not yet barely four years old.  I know, I can't believe it either and I'm writing this piece.

What's even more amazing is how this site launched in 2005 has gone from an amusing site that allowed anyone to upload and share videos with everyone else in the world to a point now where it is the "Official Public Record".  That's right.  If you did it and someone saw you do it, you just may show up on YouTube.  So be warned, better watch your Ps & Qs!

I find I watch it everyday for things like videos of new electronics reviews to the day's most interesting...

My son-in-law introduced me to the world of YouTube. His first e-mail regarding this site was of a video of adorable Pomeranians. I refuse to get hooked by this site; however, it is easy to and it is definitely fun.

A Closer View

Put simply YouTube is a website that allows me to watch videos; share my favorites with others; connect with people who have similar interest as I do and upload my own videos. This may sound like the epitome of narcissism but many wonder why in the world I would want to share myself via my blog. Most of us reading this understand.

Youtube.com has provided me with so many wonderful musical moments. I've seen the movie Hairspray(can't wait for the DVD) and even clips from the broadway play, videos of my favorite singers from the 50's and 60's, and Judge Judy sending litigants down the country. I always wonder about the copyright issues after reading articles about people complaining their work was put on youtube without their permission. Often, certain videos, such as the Hairspray movie and broadway play, are taken down. I always imagine the copyright police tracking me down and arresting me for illegally watching. Although...

Want a good laugh? Want to learn something new? Who knew you could make a battery out of a lemon? Youtube does! Tune in for the funnest, stupidest, most interesting video site to date. And you can join for free and upload your own stupid, funny or whatever videos for the world to see. Or, if you're creative like me...

...upload your own homemade videos and see what the reactions are. I have made friends from all over the world that love iguanas as I do, and being homebound due to a stroke, I get to still interact with the world. I am not alone!

Don't make fun of me, but I like reality t.v.  So, for me, one of the best things about youtube is that I can watch scenes of one of my favorite shows, Big Brother, anytime I want.  And they're scenes they don't show on t.v.!  Also, it has a fun community feel to it because you can read the comments of others and leave your own, if you'd like.

Also, I go to bed early.  So I miss a lot of really good stuff on t.v.  But, if I give it a little time, someone will post it on youtube and I can see it.  There isn't anything I don't LOVE about youtube.  I think it is one of the best websites out...

If you want a good laugh, this can be the place to go.  Some of the funniest, stupidest videos I've ever seen.  There are a lot of videos that will break your heart, make you mad, and make you think.  Some are informative, some are for venting frustrations.  Just about anything you want to see, or can even imagine, you can probably find it on youtube.com

But beware, I've seen some people on there who thouht they could sing, and then I found others, who really can.

If you ever post a video, make sure it's not something that you'll regret later.   After all, do you really want to end up all over...

Disney channel has a segment called Choo Choo Soul it is only on for about  two minutes, like a long commercial. My daughter loves it and is sad when she misses it. I love that I can go to You Tube and she can see it anytime! Or I do recommend Gummi Bear ( long take) It is adorable also. I catch my daughter saying Gummi, Gummi, Gummi when she wants to watch it.                                                                                                                                                                                  ...

Ohmygoodness where to begin.... Youtube is WONDERFUL! Where else can you have a nagging song/thought/anything in your brain and go to your computer and instantly pull it up and see it, GREAT! I was thinking the other day how my kids would have loved the show "The Bugaloos", they are the right age, I loved the Bugaloos when I was their age.. SO we went down to the goood old computer and voila! You can watch WHOLE episodes of THE BUGALOOS ONLINE!!! Also, LAND OF THE LOST! and SIGMUND THE SEAMONSTER!!! I am so glad because how else can you explain Sigmund the Seamonster???? YOU CANT!  It must be...
