Youtube.com is an entertainment web site that can make anyone an instant “star” overnight. Youtube.com accomplishes this feat by allowing anyone to upload a video, and some of the videos are quite creative. In addition to personal videos, there are also music videos and television videos at Youtube.com, making Youtube.com a great place to visit when you feel like listening to a favorite tune from the past. The database at Youtube.com is vast, and it offers “Anything You Can Think of, at a Moment’s Notice”. Because Youtube.com is very open- minded about its video uploads, there is sometimes some questionable material in the videos. Youtube.com can also become quite time- consuming and addictive. Disappointed in the recent 'garbage' videos being available.

I really liked you tube and had alot of fun looking at some of the videos. For example I loved Anita Renfroe's Mom sense video. Sorry if I haven't posted anything here on Viewpoints in awhile but I just got a new digital camera and I been trying to make some videos believe it or not. To the PointMy son-in-law introduced me to the world of YouTube. His first e-mail regarding this site was of a video of adorable Pomeranians. Youtube.com has provided me with so many wonderful musical moments. I've seen the movie Hairspray(can't wait for the DVD) and even clips from the broadway play, videos of my favorite singers from the 50's and 60's, and Judge Judy sending litigants down the country. I always wonder about the copyright issues after reading articles about people complaining their work was put on youtube without their permission. Often, certain videos, such as the Hairspray movie and broadway play, are taken down. It takes a lot for me to laugh, but with the video selection on YouTube, I have rolled on the floor many times.  This is a great site because there are videos on just about everything.  I had a particular song in my head and couldn't think of who sang it so I searched YouTube and not only found the answer, but also a great video of the group.  The site is used by so many people and anyone can upload a favorite video to the site.  If you don't know what you are looking for, just type in some keywords on whatever mood you are in.  There are videos from all around the… read full review »

Don't make fun of me, but I like reality t.v.  So, for me, one of the best things about youtube is that I can watch scenes of one of my favorite shows, Big Brother, anytime I want.  And they're scenes they don't show on t.v.!  Also, it has a fun community feel to it because you can read the comments of others and leave your own, if you'd like. — Also, I go to bed early.  So I miss a lot of really good stuff on t.v.  But, if I give it a little time, someone will post it on youtube and I can see it.  There isn't anything I don't LOVE about youtube.  I… read full review »

If you want some insight on what's going on in different parts of the planet, all you have to do is visit youtube.com. Once I found out about YouTube a year or so ago, I was constantly on it- finding videos that I hadn't seen in forever. The good thing about YouTube is that you can find videos which can bring back the best memories. With their many categories, you never know what videos you will find. If you want a good laugh, this can be the place to go.  Some of the funniest, stupidest videos I've ever seen.  There are a lot of videos that will break your heart, make you mad, and make you think.  Some are informative, some are for venting frustrations.  Just about anything you want to see, or can even imagine, you can probably find it on youtube.com — But beware, I've seen some people on there who thouht they could sing, and then I found others, who really can. — If you ever post a video, make sure it's not something that you'll regret later.  … read full review »

Disney channel has a segment called Choo Choo Soul it is only on for about  two minutes, like a long commercial. My daughter loves it and is sad when she misses it. I love that I can go to You Tube and she can see it anytime! Or I do recommend Gummi Bear ( long take) It is adorable also. Ohmygoodness where to begin.... Youtube is WONDERFUL! Where else can you have a nagging song/thought/anything in your brain and go to your computer and instantly pull it up and see it, GREAT! I was thinking the other day how my kids would have loved the show "The Bugaloos", they are the right age, I loved the Bugaloos when I was their age.. SO we went down to the goood old computer and voila! You can watch WHOLE episodes of THE BUGALOOS ONLINE!!! Also, LAND OF THE LOST! and SIGMUND THE SEAMONSTER!!!
