After a couple of lackluster departures from the silly kind of comedy that Adam Sandler is famous for, he was back on track in "Zohan".  There's no heavy emotional drama, no smart social commentary or anything, just good old dirty jokes and silliness.  It's not believable in any way shape or form and...

DONT MESS WITH THE ZOHAN: This movie was terrible. There was a lot of sexual context in this movie that was not told about in the trailor. Zohan has sex with everyone who gets their hair cut. You see the walls shaking etc...it is not a good movie to take your kids to.

When I went, the theater was full...

this movie was awful. i saw the inital preview and thought it would be good. i was sadly mistaken. Adam Sandler needs to put this one back on the shelf and call it a flop. what were they thinking.

The Zohan, overall funny....but the jokes all relate to sex. Better not watch it with your family.

I have always liked Adam Sandler.  He has always made funny memorable movies.Of course when I saw the movie Don't Mess With the Zohan, I knew I was going to see it.

Adam Sandler stars as Zohan, a super powerful and seemingly indestructible Mossad agent whose specialty is taking out Palestinian terrorists. The war between his country and Palestine has been going on for over 20 years and there does not really seem any sign that it will end. Zohan is tired of the fighting, and dreams of coming to American to become a Hair Stylist for Paul Mitchell, his dream is to make people silky smooth. Since he...

Okay, I admit it! I actually went to go see this movie... and I talked my elderly mother into seeing it with me. (What was I thinking?). How embarrassing that turned out to be. Not to mention that the theatre was filled with the pre-teen sect.

I was so looking forward to seeing a comedy. Adam Sandler's comedies are usually kind of an absent-minded humor, though sometimes crude. Sure, I would never give his films the highest of ratings, but they usually at least leave me with a sense of amusement.

All of the actors are talented actors and comedians, and yes I did get a few laughs out of this film....

I just finished watching " Don't Mess With The Zohan " and it was a pretty funny movie all in all. Of course, you have to expect a lot of cheesy, goofy humor with any Adam Sandler movie, so don't rent it if you don't like it! There is a LOT of making fun of of foriegn people, which I would imagine would be quite offensive to someone who it pertains to personally. I believe there's a bit of a stereotype about making fun of people wrongly tagged as " possible terrorists " in the movie, as though it's ok to make fun of these people when it's really not. The accents are terrible, and the made up gibberish... review »

Ok so Don't Mess With The Zohan is a movie about an Israeli counter-terrorist Zohan (Adam Sandler) who is Israel's national defender from terrorists. He soon gets tired of all the fighting between Israel and Pakistan so he decides to fake his own death and flee to America to become a hair dresser. But upon coming to America, he finds he cannot find a job at being a hair dresser other than at a Pakistani hair salon. As Scrappy Coco, he starts to style hair with styles made popular in the late 1980s. Soon his sexual style of cutting hair is made popular and he is soon found by an old enemy (Rob Schneider)... review »

You Don't Mess with the Zohan was a really great movie. It was a more political than I had originally expected, but it still got a point across. There were many political aspects of the movie, but was still able to poke fun at the situations in the Middle East in a non-threatening manner. Adam Sandler did a great job portraying an ex-IDF soldier. The soundtrack was amazing as well.

This is Sandler, being Sandler.  My boyfriend found it much funnier than I did, but the stupidity of much of it was laugh out loud.  If you are sensitive out racial stereotyping, this isn't the movie for you... who knew Hummus had so many uses?? :)

Best wait for DVD.

I realy enjoyed this movie.  These screwball comedies can be ridiculous sometimes, and of course this one does have some silly parts. But it made me laugh, and it had heart.  Adam Sandler knows how to make movies with heart and humor, and he did it again.
