Yorkshire Terrier Dog Breed —

I have had and have 5 Yorkies. They are the best little lovers. I swear they love you so much and know your every routine. Mine know after I make the bed it play time up on the bed. He just sits there with toy in mouth. They are real fussy on there food and that can be very trying. He know after lunch we take a nap and will stand in hallway on the way to the bedroom while I eat then when I am done he goe's charging down the hallway to play a short time before we fall alseep. He knows by what I wear in the morning that I am going somewhere and will wait to hear do you want to go . He is very happy. All the words he know's are ausome. If you are a Yorkie lover you know I could go on and on,and I don't want to bore you. Its like having a baby and of course he is the best one in the world. Sharon and Keeper

Hi proud mama The tought of your yorkie getting out og the fence is auful. Also on the radio it said men were taking dogs out of yards at night and selling them for researce. That drives me crazy. They get $400 to $500 per dog. I watch my little guy at night just to be safe. I put a green chainlink fench in my front yard. 4ft high. No body has said any thing to me yet. He is worth it. Hi I know what you mean my yorkie ran after a moving truck. He will do anything to protect us and home. I can never let him run. He just thinks he is a big dog and acts like one. I have a 4ft grean chain link fench. Best thing I ever spend money on. He can see thru it and chache all the trucks he wants.. So far it is the school bus any big truck, motorcycle, post office truck. Don't know how he knows they are postal workers. He keeps me going and I love him. I wish I had 2 of them as it would free up my time if they would play. Take care Sharoncookie

Hi Sharon; I have 2 Yorkies. My girl just turned 2 years and my male is 8 months. My problem the female will do anything to climb or jump my 48 inch fence. We can't put up a privacy fence so far so many great neighbors have returned her to us. I fear for the day she'll be hit by a car or picked up and not returned. Even if we are outside with her; turn your back and she's gone in an instant!
