Yorkshire Terrier Dog Breed —
Yorkshire Terriers are great dogs; very loyal and very alert. I got my first Yorkie, Pedi about 11 years ago. She was 6 weeks at that time and very fragile. She bonded best with just me although she put up with our other two dogs, a schnauzer and a samoyed. She always thinks she is the "BIG Dog". Not much scares her. Because of the terrier in her, you mustbeaware of their attack nature. For instance, she can rat out a skunk a mile away and has
always put up a good smelly fight--her fight consists of jumping around like a rock and roll star while barking, barking, barking! One must feed yorkies a balanced healthy diet. Their
intestines need only the very best of foods--please, no table scraps. Yorkies also tend to
panic when their owners leave them especially at the vet! They can make themselves sick;
Heartsick! Otherwise, they are the most loyal canine I have ever had!
