Yorkshire Terrier Dog Breed —

I currently own two yorkies and I absolutely love these little guys. They're very loyal, smart, and they don't shed. They are great with my kids and my kids adore them. I must say that yorkies require dedicated owners. Since they are prone to various health problems, they need an owner who is willing to shell out money on vet bills. My older yorkie (he is 8) requires a special diet and is on lifelong medications. Of course, not all yorkies are destined to have health problems but I think that is something all potential owners should consider. All in all, I love my yorkies and can't see myself with any other breed.

I have a Jack Russell Terrier and he is very much a one person dog. He loves me, ONLY me. He's so loyal and sweet but can be nippy to others sometimes. He's older and getting cranky. lol.
