York 13 SEER Series Review

The York Split Air Conditioner System is rated 13 Seer (Seasonal Energy Efficiency

Ratio).  Its tonnage range is l.5-5 tons.  It comes with a 5-year compressor/5 year

parts limited warranty.  It has exceptionally quiet sound levels and its streamlined

appearance does not distract from my backyard landscaping.  I have had te

System for approximately one year and this has been a marvelous summer.  My

health required me to switch from a window unit to central air due to respiratory

problems.  I never realized what I was missing. 

The enclosed , permanently lubricated fan motor will reduce maintenance costs

in the future.It uses environmentally friendly RA10A refrigerant.  I have had no problems

with the York Air Conditioning System since its installation in November, 2008.

It was comprably priced.  The electric bill was suprising low since it was used

almost continually from early May to late September.  I would definitely recommend

the system.
