What I love about the Yoga Ball
How can you not love something that can give you a total body workout for less than $20? You simply pump the ball and go for it! You can do stomach exercises, leg exercises, chest exercises, etc. I am no personal trainer, but I think it is probably best for abs and legs. The opportunities on the Yoga Ball are endless and you can switch out your workout all the time. The other nice thing about the yoga ball is that you dont have to go to a gym. So if you are self-motivated, you can have a small piece of fitness equipment in your house and still stay in shape.
My warning... ...
read full review »I use to run a health/wellness facility and the most useful item I always recommended was the exercise/stability/balance ball. It is a great tool to get results. You can use it for abs, legs, arms, back and more. There are several videos out that show entire routines that are all done on or with the ball. I taught several ball classes and everyone was always impressed with how many different things you could do with the balance ball. I mostly use mine for ab workouts...but I change it up every now and then.
This is a great idea for new students trying to better their flexability. Though , it may take time to find balance with the yoga ball, It is still a great way to build lean , longer muscles. I have recommened this ball to a few students here and there that were working on their back bends (bridges , wheels, ect..) .
