Back in 1985 my first family (spouse passed away in 1994) took our first trip to Amish country in Pennsylvania. We were campers then and stayed at a lovely campground near Blue Ball, PA. One could drive from Blue Ball though Intercourse and arrive at Paradise. On the way is New Holland and Yoder's Country Market. We were directed there for both some groceries and what the owners of the campground billed as the best food in the world.

read full review »If you come to Amish country, you can NOT leave without trying Yoder's. This is truly truly good home country cooking. I don't believe there is a thing on the menu that isn't good, even if you don't like it, it is still good.
