I can't give this a great number because I can't stand the smell of this lotion. I'm all for natural products free of chemicals, dyes and fragrance. That I like about this, but if I can't stand the smell of a product I won't wear it. After it's put on it's like the smell just stays on you for awhile. For that reason alone I can't give it a higher rating. I gave this to my husband because after a few times of wearing it I just didn't like it anymore. Apart from that I can't say that it didn't help my hands. It does go on well and helps dry hands feel moisturized. I will say that it is a good aspect in that regard, but the smell just makes me not want to buy it again. Scent I am definitely not a fan of this scent. It has a weird smell that stays on your hands for awhile. Not for me. Absorption It does absorb into your hands well and gives them that smooth feeling. Effectiveness It is effective in moisturizing your hands, but I have found other lotions that do the job better.

I still haven't quite jumped on the natural products bandwagon yet, so this brand was a little out of my comfort zone. It is definitely not something I would have been drawn to or picked out off the shelf, but my local store had one set out for sampling and I loved how creamy it was, so I gave it a shot. Scent It does not smell like carrots (it isn't orange either, in case you were wondering) but the smell isn't very pleasant either. It is somewhat of a typical lotion smell. It can be overwhelming while you are applying the lotion, but it fades pretty quickly. Absorption The texture is thick and creamy and it rubs in almost instantly. It feels super silky without any stickiness or greasy residue. This is truly how it won me over. Effectiveness The skin on my legs is pretty sensitive, especially after shaving, and I was sick of the burning I had to endure when putting lotion on them. Finally, I have found a lotion that works without that excruciating burning sensation. My legs are smoother and less sensitive and the razor burn I get heals much quicker than it did when I was irritating it with other lotions. No more dry itchy skin in the winter either. It isn't quite moisturizing enough for my super dry hands, but I do use it on my hands throughout the day and as a buffer before applying some of the other 'burning' lotions. The only thing it is missing is SPF protection, but I will continue using it anyways.

This lotion is great for dry skin. I love to use it on my hands in the wintertime. Scent There really isn't a smell to the lotion. Absorption I love how non greasy this lotion is. It absorbs quickly and makes my hands feel soft. Effectiveness This is a great overall lotion, especially for the price!

I'm a fan of this Yes To Carrots brand I don't think you can get better products for the price. Now this body moisturizing lotion in particular is truly a gem. I love the consistency. It's very easy to apply, not too thick or sticky. I leaves my skin soft and super moisturized. I use it as a hand moisturizer as well which shows how moisturizing this product is. It smells heavenly. If you use other Yes To Carrots products then you'll know what I'm talking about. I'm not sure it smells like carrots but it's delicious all the same. The smell remains on my skin hours after I've moisturized it. The only thing I don't really like about this product is the pump. I mean I love the pump. It's easy and hygienic but it doesn't deliver enough product at a time. You have to pump several times in order to get a decent amount of product. They should definitely rethink this pump thing... well maybe that's just me. Anyway, great product, eco-friendly and quite affordable... a winner !

Say Yes to Carrots (or Tomatoes) line is awesome.  Great products.  Unfortunately, they're expensive. But this body lotion is incredible.  It's thick and the scent is amazing.  I love that I can apply this in the morning and still smell the scent at night and my skin feels so incredibly soft. It's not something I can afford to buy regularly but it's definitely on my list whenever someone asks me what I'd like for birthdays or holidays!
