Yards and Beyond 6-Pack Solar Light Bronze Kit Review

The lights are mounted on durable, bronze-color metal spikes that pierce the ground easily.  Because they're solar powered, there is no wiring or electricity to contend with.  The photocell control automatically turns ON at dusk and OFF about 8 hours later (the length of the battery run time).  Even though it was late afternoon when we installed the lights around the garden, the lights lit up brightly by dusk.  The light is a bright clear color (not amber) and does look attractive highlighting pathways and gardens. 

Each light sits about 5 inches above ground, and the photocell is on the top of the light.  We avoided the shadiest parts of the yard when placing them, so as not to reduce the number of hours that the lights will operate.  Ideally, these need to be placed in full, direct sunlight to get the maximum operation.

Overall, I'm very pleased with the value and quality of the Yards & Beyond 6-Pack Solar Bronze Kit.   If you're thinking about adding a nice detail to your outdoor spaces, this is a good product to try.
