You've really got to try these. If you like Yardley, this is the way to go. The soaps and the washes complement each other nicely and you get a thorough clean. I say go for the package deal to get the full benefit! Effectiveness As usual, these products are highly effective, from the wash you get to the fragrance. I find the shower gels (and it is more of a gel than a liquid) alone do a nice job, but I much prefer to combine the soap and gel to get the greatest measure of effectiveness. Again, great for when your skin is in any kind of "mood," from combo to oily to dry. I wouldn't worry if your you have sensitive skin, either. Scent I'm giving a 9 here, only because I think the cleansing gel by itself doesn't have the same straight-up fragrance appeal that the soaps alone have. But the combination is really nice and Yardley has one of the finest fragrance lines around.
