Yankee Candle Tarts Wax Potpourri —

Yankee Candle offers an enormous variety of wonderful scents for all occasions.  While I really enjoy all their candles, I sometimes worry about the safety of them.  However, there is no safety worries when you use Wax Candle Tarts instead.

All you need to use Wax Candle Tarts is a burner.  You can pick these up most anymore.  Electric burns work the best, however you can also buy attractive burners that work by candle.  With the electric burners, all you do is plug in the burner and place a wax tart on top.  After it heats up, it will melt the wax and release the wonderful aroma of the scent you've selected.  When you're done burning the tart, just unplug the burner and it the tart will re-harden until you melt it again.  The next time you burn the tart, you'll enjoy the same fragrance.  I have NEVER seen a tart disappear.  When I tire of the scent, I simply pop the melted wax and holder into the freezer.  After it's been in there awhile, the remaining wax will pop right out.  Then you can add a new scented tart.

The only problem is......which scent to choose?  There are so many wonderful scents for every season, every mood, and every occasion.  My favorite holiday scents are Pumpkin Pie, Christmas Cookie, Mistletoe, and Christmas Eve.  During the summer, the scents I enjoy the most are the beach themed scents like Sun & Sand, Beach Walk, and Ocean Water.  When my best friend was married, I bought them a very nice Wax Tart Burner and several of the Wedding Day scent and other romantic ones like Midnight Jasmine, and Fresh Cut Roses.  There are many fruity and flowery fragrances as well, that smell very nice.

The best part about Yankee Candle Wax Tarts is the price.  Less than $ 2.00 a piece!  I buy several of them each year for my Mom's Christmas stocking.  They are small enough to fit at the bottom and not take up a lot of space, and inexpensive enough that I can buy her a nice selection.

If you enjoy all the fragrances that Yankee Candle has, buying the Wax Tarts is an expensive way to enjoy them all.

yankee candles DO smell lovely, however, their burners are not thermally stable...causing them to crack often. Other companies, like Party Lite thermally test their burners to make sure the core can't overheat, making them safe to touch. So if you love the yankee scents but have issues with the burner, I would try ordering a Party Lite burner.

I still have a bag full of these tarts. My problem was: I kept breaking or burning out the burners. After my 2nd or 3rd burner I gave up on them so now I have about 12-15 tarts. Maybe I need to give the burner another try. Now I am using the big electric crock burner that holds the 20 oz. jar and I love it.

I also like the buy a pack of X for X ... and then a friend and I split the cost and the candles.
