Yankee Candle Coconut Bay 22 Ounce Housewarmer Jar Candle Review

This candle has a soothing scent that will transport you to the islands.  Depending on the size, you can expect a long burn with a clean flame.  You may note a small amount of soot also, but if the wick is trimmed correctly, this can be reduced.  With the smell of nutty coconut, this candle makes your home smell a windswept island.  The candle is of high quality and will generally burn entirely down to a final small wick at the bottom of the jar.  The jar is a heavy duty glass and does not tend to be dangerously hot even after burning for several hours, although it would still not be a good idea to be in reach of children or animals.  When not burning, the housewarmer jars come with a nice sealing lid.  This also helps to keep the candle, and scent, fresh.  When this candle is burning, its scent will be noted for quite a radius from the burning candle itself.  Although all housewarmer candles will throw off scent, the largest size (at 22 oz.) seems to be most effective.  Yankee Candles are a little expensive, but are worth the price in candle life and quality of scent.
