Yamaha YZF-R1 - 2007 Motorcycle —

The 2007 Yamaha R1 is a sweet, fast, reliable machine. I feel safe in corners, love the torque and accerlation, and really love how smooth this motorcycle feels overall. I love the look of the undertail exhaust, although that does lead to my one and only issue with the bike. The heat put off from the exhaust is let out directly at your feet and legs. Of course you should be wearing proper riding gear so this shouldn't affect you, but I don't, so it does. I'm told purchasing a carbon fibre (spelling) exhaust will help with this problem and will update this as soon as I buy one and find out first hand.

I apologize, I didn't see your response until just now. My R1 is still rocking at 13500 miles. I still love it to death. I'm actually thinking of putting on slip-ons for a deeper, throatier sound. Hope you are still enjoying the open roads with your friends. Ride Hard, but Ride Safe. :)

This is an amazing motorcycle. I was actually a passenger on it, but the guy who owned it had absolutely no problems with it at all. It's amazing, smooth, has great turning, and really can withstand high speeds.
