Yamaha YCL-450A Intermediate Clarinet Reviews

I had tried a couple of these at a local music store when a student was looking for a step-up wood instrument. The store had stock on two of these and the Buffet E-11, their intermediate brand. The instruments were in the student family's price range (around $1100) and so, I tried them. — — The instrument was reasonably well made. There were no apparent problems on either instrument in terms of fit, keywork, adjustment, etc. The Yamahas played reasonably in tune, one being slightly better.
