Yahoo offers many different (helpful and not so helpful) services. Among one of my favorites is the Yahoo Avatar. Yahoo Avatar is a system that allows you to create your own special picture, that can be downloaded, saved as a jpeg or other image files, or exported directly to blogs. The service can be accessed at avatars.yahoo.com.
Avatars are pictures, images or even animations that you can use to express yourself. On Yahoo Avatar you choose from among the following:
- appearance: face, eyes, hair color and styles
- clothing: choose from 35 "pages" of different clothing and styles from international...

About Yahoo! Avatars:
Your brain will not increase in size. You will not be helping the unfortunate. You will maybe not even be contributing to the success of society. But, if you are, like me, a child-at-heart, then you will have a whole truck-load of fun.
Basically how it works: you select your avatars face-shape, eye color, hair-style and color, clothing, body type (there are only two options, really--'regular' and 'plus-sized'), pets, accessories, and background.
