I have been a member of Y! Answers for almost a year not. I've got the Top Contributer caption under Law and Ethics. This site is absolutely fantastic. If I can't find an answer to any kind of question, I run it through Answers. Chances are someone else has asked the same and I can read everyone's responses. Even doing a google search- you'll pull up Y! Answers. Simply go to the topic your question is under and type in a sentance for a title. You can write in your problem or ask for some kind of information. The site covers everything from money, dating, legal advice,immigration, voting, pets, jokes, etc. There are a lot of good posters who will reply to questions. In "law and ethcis" there are a few regulars who along with me, give advice. There are even policemen who answer questions under "law enforcement." Believe it or not, there are a lot of cop haters out there! You'll get some weird or ignorant answers but you'll also get good advice which can help you out. Answerers will also give out web sites to back up their answers and to go in depth. If you don't have a question, just go on the site to read about what people are asking. The site is addictive! You are allowed limits when you first join and work your way up to voting, earning points, and status. The only downfall is that you don't get paid or get any perks, which is disappointing. There is a lot of good advice that comes in but Yahoo only give you a pat on the back or lets you download a banner. Trust me, you will love this site! The absolute best!

One drawback is the fact that you can't 'chat'. Your post will get deleted. You have to use the community forum to "chat". Some people have given the funniest answers or are mean and you just want to reply to them!
