YOU on a Diet  —

You on a Diet is a book that takes a rare look at what actually happens to your body when you are on a diet. It goes into great detail about hormones and hunger and satiety signals. Apparently we all have these and just need to tune in better to know when we are full. When we eat even though we are already full, it is easy to pack on the pounds.

I first heard of You on a Diet on an episode of Oprah featuring Dr. Oz. I though he was amazing right off the bat. He seemed very knowledgeable. He taught me things about losing weight that I didn't know and I have been studying the topic for several years now. So I HAD to buy the book. And I'm so glad I did.

I think everyone should own a copy of You on a Diet, even if you aren't aiming to lose weight. It has a lot of great info about how your body works and tells which methods work best at fueling your body for better health and energy.

You on a Diet has a lot of technical terms, but is is also described in layman terms and includes cartoon graphics to show exactly what they are referencing.

Pick up your own copy of You on a Diet to learn how to get a healthy gut, the hassle-free way to lose weight and how to get in tough with the signals your hormones are sending you.
