Xhilaration - Electra Suede Boots Review

Quick View: I have two pairs of "real" Uggs and love them. I wanted at least one more pair this year but my budget's tight. I couldn't justify spending so much on more boots. I tried lots of different "Ugg-alikes" but they all fell way short of the real thing. However, Xhilaration - Electra Suede Boots are VERY similar to Uggs in many ways. They are closest thing to the real thing I have found and I only paid $22.00 for mine on sale at Target.

My Take on Xhilaration - Electra Suede Boots

Thse 8" shaft suede boots look very, very similar to Uggs. They come in Gray, Chestnut, Sand, Brown, and Black that I saw. Online, they are selling out and only have Chestnut and Gray left at Target.com. I bought the gray pair at first. They were on sale for $22.00 and it was an impulse purchase.

However, I soon realized that these boots were super warm and super comfortable. Uggs has sheepskin lining whereas these boots have faux fur. Otherwise, it's almost impossible to tell these apart from real Uggs. I don't just mean the way they look. I mean they way they feel. These boots are warm and should be worn without socks but can be worn with them as well. They don't overheat the feet and they seem to adjust to the temperature outside. The soles are non-slip and very sturdy rubber while still being flexible and the suede is easy to care for and doesn't stain quickly at all.

I almost bought a size 7 although I am a size 8 in shoes. Uggs encourages snug boots that will grow as you wear them and mold to your feet. However, after trying both sizes on, I decided to go for the 8's which were just a tad roomy. I'm glad I did. They don't bother me at all when I walk and are really very comfy. I like the faux fur. It feels great on my feet and keeps them warm but not TOO warm.

I bought the black Xhilaration - Electra Suede Boots after a week of wearing the gray ones. I am tempted to also get the chestnut or brown color but really, enough is enough. My Uggs are light blue, purple, and light sand so I wanted something more neutral and darker and planned to buy darker Uggs. I saved a lot of money by buying the Xhilaration - Electra Suede Boots. No, they're not as well made as Uggs but they are FINE for my casual use. They're great for outdoors and in and I don't worry if I get them dirty since they didn't cost what Uggs cost. I have to say, these are the best Ugg-alikes I have found and, even if they fall apart after a season, I got my money's worth.

My Viewpoint

If you want a pair of Uggs but just can't or don't want to spend the big bucks on them, go to Target and try a pair of Xhilaration - Electra Suede Boots on. They're super similar except that lining is different but the faux fur is very comfy and warm. The soles are super well made and the overall look is exactly like a pair of Uggs. The brand also markets a taller shaft boot called the Kendra for those who like 13" shafts. Same price too! 4 stars.
