This game is awesome. I play this game the most out of any of my games that I have.

For the first month that I had this game I played the multiplayer which is amazing. For all the people saying thst the guns suck, it's a world war two game of course there is going to be world war two weopons.                                                                                         ...

I got my sweetheart the game Call of Duty: World at War for Christmas per his request. One day I felt like being lazy and didn't want to change games so I just started it up. After a little bit of reading, I just threw myself into the online multiplayer gameplay. Imagine my surprise when I actually found myself ENJOYING the game! I'm not one for war games, i'm really more of an RPG-er, but I really have fallen in love with this game!

The game offers the basic first person shooter campaign mode with a story line. It's amazingly detailed and true to life! You will honestly believe you are fighting...

This game is really fun.  The easy levels are well, easy. But as you play on veteran, it really gets annoying.  They call the Call of Duty World at War game on veteran, Grenades at War for a reason.  Every enemy has like four grenades and there are infanite spawning enemys in some places and you just get a sky raining of grenades. That is the only thing I really hate about this game. The levels are awesomely put together. I have not played co-op so I wont be able to comment on that part. Multiplayer is fun as well. There are quite a few noobs that try to ruin it though with thier complaining...

Call of Duty World at War is based on the previous game, Call of Duty 4.  The only difference is that single player is much more brutal and fast paced.  Now, you would have to watch out for bayonets coming at you and explosions around you.  In this game, you can dismember enemies depending on what kinds of guns you use, it is not about winning the game anymore, it is about surviving the war only will then you experience what WW2 soldiers endured back in their days.  Multiplayer is just as fun to play as Call of Duty 4.  Instead, you can drive tanks, call dogs, or an artillary strike.  I recommend...

World At War may very well be the best Call of Duty around.  It basically is the same game as Call of Duty 4 but set in World War II.  The game has a better single player campaign which consists of a much darker story, darker and bloodier graphics, and had language.  It is the most realistic war game around.

This game isnt for everyone though.  The guns are old fashioned and so are the setting.  If oyu want a modern game with modern guns than Call 4 is your best bet.  But World at War's multiplayer is nearly identical.

As an added bonus, there is a Nazi Zombie mode which puts 4...

This game was definately a step down from Call of Duty 4, which as many of you know was released BEFORE World at War. So you are probably wondering why I gave it 4/5 stars when it clearly barely deserves 3.  That was the recently released Co-Op/Multiplayer mode known AS,... Nazi Zombies.  This 'mode' makes the game worth it's weight in gold. It has the survivorability of Left for Dead, and the point system of any other monotonous FPS game you can think of.

If you love zombies and survival, and don't mind a lack of levels (same level throughout the game, just with different areas you can open)...

best call of duty game so far its Graphics and real like Features makes the player felt like he or she was there since 1942. I played it on the 360 and Activision push itself more into the game since call of duty 4. if any other game was to challenge this that fall under the war caragory, they should check before challengeing.

Call is Duty: World at War is okay. It would be a GREAT game, if you've never experienced CoD 4: Modern Warfare. It you are a lover of CoD 4, you might be let down. The weapons are that great. The graphics are excellent in the story, but on mulitplayer it seems kind of grey.

I've had this game for awhile now and I would say it's an excellent online multiplayer game.  I've never once played the single player missions, they don't appeal to me.   Graphics are good, as are controls, although not as good as Call of Duty 4.
