Xbox Live is a really nice thing to have, if you can get it to work...
The first problem I ran into when I set up my Xbox was that it came with a 10 foot cord to plug into my modem/router.  The problem with that was my computer is in a completly different room, so I went back out to the store bought...

After trying for one hour by myself unsuccessfully, it required three phone calls to Microsoft support and two hours of jumping between the Xbox and the internet to finally set up "live." Nothing intuitive about this set up and the phone support is banal at best. I've assembled more than 100 computers and written code for more than 25 years, "live" set up is an art, not a technical accomplishment. This was however, consistent with previous experience with Microsoft tech support: staff is uneducated, do not speak english, and seek to blame the problem on non-Microsoft portion of the system or...

Includes a unique card with code redeemable for a 12-month subscription to Xbox Live Gold. Xbox Live Gold is required for online multiplayer gaming via Xbox Live. Get on Xbox Live now and play your favorite multiplayer games against friends or other opponents online. So if you are a Halo 3 player and have beat the entire game and want to play some deathmatchs online against real live opponents, hop on Xbox Live Gold and prove your skills. Or if you have some buddies and want a quick jam session in Rock Band, this is just the membership card you are looking for. For anyone who has an xbox 360 the...

I have been a loyal xbox live subscriber since I bought my xbox 360 when they first came out. You can pick up a card basically anywhere you can think of. For the price of a game, you get a full calender year of online play with unlimited use! You can visit their xbox live marketplace where you can download demos, music videos, movies, TV show episodes etc. They have a little bit of everything for everyone. They have cartoons for younger kids, as well as those older kids who won't admit to it. There are comedies, dramas, anything you could practically imagine. They let you talk with other xbox...

The Xbox Live system is great for adults who have self-control and for teens under supervision.  The games and the interation with other people is great for everyone, BUT I have seen my nephews turn into addicts and in turn they have let school grades drop and for one he would prefer to never see the outside world again.  I also fear that he is learning to think that there is a reset button for everything in life - and he is in for a hard lesson when he realizes that is not true.

If you can monitor your teens and you can make sure that limits are placed - great system.  For my husband it is a...

We have had the "Xbox Live" for a few months now.  Our son that is 11 loves it.  He has 6 friends from school that he chats with and plays games with.  And it is very affordable.  It's only about $8.00 a month.  He can also make friends from other countries.  When he goes in to play a game it shows where are all the players are from which is very interesting.  I would recommend "Xbox Live" to anyone.

Not much needs to be said about htis.  This is a must have if you have an Xbox.  This will allow you to play online with friends or total strangers.  Most all games feature some sort of online play.  It is especially cool to play the classic games online.  Nothing is more satisfying than performing a fatality against a total stranger in high def.  Nothing but good things here

If you have an XBOX 360 XBOX Live is a must.  Great way to meet cool people and your friends prolly already have it so you should too to keep in touch.  Makes you want to play your games for more than a week because after you play the single player you usally are done playing it but with XBOX Live you want to play for months more.

Xbox live is great for kids from early ages to teenagers. It allows for kids to interact with each other without having to be in the same room. Allows for friends to stay in touch and meet new people. It is relatively cheap (about $50 a year). Has a very interactive set up and dashboard. Very up to date with the latest games.

I bought th X Box live with the game, chat pad and microphone for me 11 and 16 y/o boys.  They have had more enjoyment out of this.  They are capable of talking to people from anywhere.  My kids chat with friends and it doesn't tie up the phone or the cell phone bills.  I can't believe I didn't get this before!

Xbox live is great, until the free subscriptions expire, I loved playing on-line, but why cant xbox follow the lead of its predecessor play-station?

They don't charge to play on-line!!

Can we see a price reduction anytime soon, i don't think so!!

But DAMN, is it fun, 5 stars all the way..

This is great for all ages in the home. Young children can play on system with friends. Husbands are able to do the same with their friends. With cards your able to get updates and special additions when you hook up to xbox live.  You also are not stuck with it if you do not continue to use.

Definately bigger than "Playstation Live" or "WII online." It allows you to download music videos, movies, games, etcetera. You can play games on XBOX Live, connecting you with friends, family, and people all over the world. You can even talk and strategize with fellow players.

i hate how xbox live cost money!!! But it does cost money, for a good thing. Because it has an amazing xbox live setup, unlike the ps3. But wat doesnt make sense is how changing your xbox live gamer tag cost ms points.
