Xbox - Halo 2 Review

I'm a long time (25+ years) video gamer and this one should be headed for the Gamer's Hall of Fame. They took everything about Halo (the game that helped make the Xbox great) and improved it. The graphics are great, the game play itself is awesome, and the head-to head matches against others is always fun. Loads of devastating weapons, and lots of baddies. For shooters this one is very hard to beat. There are interesting missions, where besides being able to blast the heck out of stuff, you have to use a little intelligence to be able to succesfully complete the mission without taking the cheap way otu of re-spawning multiple times. The overall atmosphere within the game does create a sense of "what's around that corner" kind of thing, and that is always fun. This one is good for many hours of gameplay. My only complaint is that for some reason, I just can't seem to beat my son when we play vs. each other, but oh well...
