Xbox 360 - Gears of War 2 Review

This is a great game.  This is a big improvement over the first one.  The controls are better, the graphics are better.  The gameplay feels much more fluid.  I went back to play Gears 1 after this and I thought it felt stiff in comparison.  Gears 2 comes with a downloadable mappack of 5 favorites from gears 1.  There are new features like the ever popular meat flag, being able to stick grenades to walls, and a new online mode called horde.  Horde is a mode where you fight up against 50 waves of enemies.  You don't fight other players, you work together to fight against the horde.  This is a great game that takes a little practice, but is very rewarding.  Did I mention this is a great game?  Trying to come up with 900 characters is a tough thing to do and I don't know that I have much more to say.  Just buy this game and you will be happy.  We play it every night.  There are new map packs you can purchase to add value to the game too.
