Xbox 360 - Gears of War 2 Review

I never played the first Gears but watched my boyfriend while it blasted through it. As soon as i saw him playing Gears of War 2 i had to get into it. I don't usually play xbox games i just stick with smash brothers brawl on wii, but to jump right into it was very easy. The graphics are just amazing and it's very easy to get used to the way the controls are set up. Whats great abuot it is there are pretty much no restrictions on what you can do while your walking except when they radio you and while your listening on your radio you cannot shoot you can just walk at a slow pace. THe good thing is you can aim and shoot while walking you can reloas quickly if you hit it at the right mark, and the xbox live gameplay takes it to a whole new level. On xbox live for gears 2 there are about 5 different types of games you can play either with your own team or by joinng in and getting matched up with a similar leveled group of people. The downside to that is it takes a while to get your rank up so you get matched with low level ranks and sumtimes go up against all high level ranked people. Even if you just wanna connect with your friends there's another setting on-line where you don't have to go up against another on-line team, you basically just fight off the horde with your team and it is addicting. In all with graphics, controls, flexibilty, and options in game play i would rate this excellent and recommend it to everybody.
