XBox 360 has been around for a while. They continue to put out great games for both the hardcore gamer and the casual player that take advantage of the XBox hardware and graphics capabilities.
Pros: Competitively priced console with a growing library of games. Sleek design. Current versions of the console lack the "Red Ring of Death" failure.
Cons: Pay to Play. Although the console is competitively priced all the extras will dollar you to death (some of which are included with the PS3). There are no aftermarket wireless controllers so you have to buy the Microsoft version for $50. If you don't... review »The Xbox-360 pro was a gift that I received eight months ago. I've used it to play everything from children's games (viva Pinata is my girlfriend's favorite), to sports games (FIFA Soccer, anyone?) to rythm (Guitar Hero and Rock Band), to action (Call of Duty). For about 20% of the cost of building a "Perfect" PC for gaming, you can play games for the next few years, at the very least!
The primary benefits of the system include cost, ease of attachment, and simplicity of online play. Weighing in at only $300 (as opposed to nearly $500 for the Playstation 3, and around $1200-1500 for a gaming...
review »This is a quick review for the XBOX 360 Pro version. I bought my system approximately two years ago, and since that day I have not regretted the decision of purchasing it. Thankfully it has come down in price the value of the system continues to sky rocket. The system provides tons of available game genres that can fit anybody's interests. The graphics are amazing and the XBOX Live experience is great. There is hardly ever lag and it seems as though there is always someone to play with no matter what the time. Back to the system, the only negative about this great game device is the noise it makes....
review »I bought my XBOX 360 for Christmas 2009 and have really enjoyed it since. This was my first "real" experience with the 360 or any XBOX because though I bought the old XBOX in the fall prior to getting the 360, I did not play it all that often and it was used. However, the 360 Pro has been wonderful. It was easy to use and to set up, though it did have a little bit of a learning curve for me. I used mine with a Silver membership and though I had some difficulty getting the internet connection established, I think that was more user error than anything to do with the XBOX. The graphics...
review »I am a computer technician who works on everything that has a motherboard in it. Xbox 360s are great, they are packed with outstanding hardware in a small bite size box(xbox to be exact). However, this comes with cons. They are so packed in that they can easily overheat. Parents, watch your kids. Don't go leaving your xbox sitting in a pile of clothes, tight area, or even on a carpet. Thats right, with ventelation on the bottom, the carpet can be just as dangerous as that toxic pile of waste (underwear). So be sure to have your xbox well ventilated so i don't have...
review »The XBO 360 is my favorite video gaming console. I bought the XBOX 360 new and purchase most of my video games used because they come out roughly 2 months after the new ones come out and are much less expensive. That would be my only gripe about the XBOX 360 is that the games for it are very expensive. I understand that they are a higher quality video game with the 3D effects and such but I would appreciate it if they didn't cost so much since the console itself costs a lot.
I have an XBOX 360 Live Gold membership which i do enjoy because I can view my netflix instant movies right on my...
review »My wife picked up an Xbox 360 Pro for me for Christmas and I have enjoyed playing it quite a bit since then. There is a variety of games for me to play and more than enough space on the hard drive to download movies and game additions. I have a Dreamcast and played computer games quite a bit over the years. I really enjoy the convenience and versatility of playing games on the Xbox 360. A down side with the Xbox 360 is that even with the large selection of games, there are not a lot of them that are made for younger kids or families with young kids, like the Nintendo Wii. However, my...
review »The XBox 360 video game console is good if you love to play sports or war games. It seems like the games available are geared toward men and boys. Maybe it's just me; but, that is about all I see except for a few exceptions.
