I fell in love with halo, I fell in love with halo 2, and Im deeply in love with Halo 3.  The campaign (single or co-op) part of the game is pretty good.  I'm more of a multiplayer kinda gal, but I did enjoy getting through the campaign line.  I definitely liked playing the story better after I found all the skulls hidden throughout the different locations.  After you find them you can turn them on and play again.  They do neat stuff.  Some of them make the game harder, and some make it funnier. (like the one that adds dialect, or the one that throws confetti everytime you get a headshot).

Anyway, the online part of it is awesome!  And its funny playing as a girl because I dont think I've ever joined a group of people to play who didnt comment on the fact that I was a girl!  But anyway, the first expansion of maps was cool.  I definitely like the smallness of Foundry.  My only problems is that now that they mixed the first expansion with the regular maps, and when I play team slayer, I get Foundry about 50% of the time.  There are tons of maps out there and I keep getting the same three.  Kinda annoying.   Also, there should be an age limit, or a sanity test before people are allowed to join a multiplayer team.  There is nothing like a teammate killing you on purpose because you got the the rocket launcher first.  However, there is a rating system, and you can rate people down that team kill, or are abusive, etc.  Apparently that's supposed to make it so you don't get paired with them again. (You can make them an avoided person, or a preferred player).  You also get rated on how well you do.  You get a number and a rank.  The number is for rated game play.  You start out as a level one, and the better you do, the more points you get.  For example, Im lvl 30 in Lone wolves, and lvl 19 in Team Slayer.  It helps keep the game more even, or at least it tries too.  You are also overall ranked.  For example Im a Major because my highest lvl is 30 in one of my ranked game plays.   You gain points by winning (or lose points by leaving a game too early).

Anyway, the graphics are good, the game play is good, and its awesome that they keep adding maps, and that they make them free after a while!  You can also replay your games played and save videos and screenshots which can be uploaded for your friend to see.  Also you can go to Bungie.net and see your saved screenshots (I made mine into my desktop background).  You can also go into Forge mode and take that same map and change them up.  Like Foundry, you can get rid of mostly everything in the map and have a completely open space, or you can make a PACMAN map (which somebody already did, visit bungie.net to download it).  You can save you're maps for all your friends to download and play with you!  Its so much fun seeing what people come up with.

So, I enjoy this game so much, that my friends and I have Halo Parties!  Seriously.  We have anywhere between 15-25 people come over, and there are about 12 tvs and 6-10 xboxs and we all play together.  So I REALLY love it as a multiplayer!   I would definitely recommend it to anybody that loves shooting games!  Just bring some ear plugs and a mute button for multiplayer games!
